Cedar Box Guitar...

Here is guitar build #41. It's made from a cedar jewelry box stamped on the inside Mosby Furniture Cleveland, Tx. I could not find out much about Mosby but it's certainly a nice box.
Kind of a combination of chrome, copper, antique and gold hardware and asymmetrical in the way a mother loves her child's school project.

It's electric with double piezo/bottle cap pick up system. Tunes right up to an open E like it was meant to play the blues.

strings a bit high off the neck but it's for slide guitar anyway.

As you can tell the tail piece was fashioned in my high tech machine shop.

I'll sell this mutt for $60 bucks. I am going to make some sound samples. They will be on facebook later.
