Live Music in Chicago...
Saw a good rocking little "Hard Country" band on our Chicago trip. This is the Hoyle Brothers and they had the crowd waltzing and two stepping the evening away at the Empty Bottle.
They play quite a few songs our band plays. We need to market ourselves as hard country. If you would like to waltz the evening away in Lufkin come out to the VFW Saturday July 14th and see the Back Porch Band. I'm on bass, Mary is on drums. Starts about 8pm and admission is about $5. Dance floor usually full.
