More Good Music You Should Listen To...

If you get a chance check out a guy we saw opening for Ray Wylie Hubbard who call himself Shinyribs. He's also in the band the Gourds, who I happen to like and have several of their cds. This is his side project. 

Shinyribs is from Beaumont and his latest cd is called "Gulf Coast Museum." It's great music if you like that Gulf Coast/South East Texas vibe. Very fun stuff and great songwriting. 

In fact watching old Shinyribs, who was kind of a biggish distinguished gentleman, dancing lightly around playing electric guitar, uke and singing about stuff that made him happy made me say to myself, "Self, that's what I want to be when I grow up."
