Just Back from New Orleans...

Just back from New Orleans last night. Our first visit since Katrina and we were welcomed into the city as conquerors. A great time was had by all. I have about 100 pictures or so to sort through so I might just set up a photo album on the Wallace Fun Photo Page linked on the side bar. First things first, it's back to work today.
I maneged to pick up a couple of pieces of tuba art this trip. Here's one I bought in Jackson Square from Jack Wittenbrink.
I think sums up that spooky New Orleans thing that underlies all the tourist stuff. Sort of a day of the dead meets happy tuba boy, which is me of course. I might just adopt this as my logo. See Jack's stuff here:
