If You Want to Know Where I'm Catching Them...

I am catching them right there. Yeah by that thing. It's called a stick up. The cats were shallow in 5' of water today. With Cathy out of town I took a solo foray to the lake and did ok all by my lonesome. 

Hey! Are these good to eat?

When I arrived at the lake wood ducks were circling this area looking to land. The fish were also biting. When the woodies settled down the fish did too. Later about 12:30 the Wood Ducks were up again and I saw a couple of big bunches. Maybe they were startled by a boat on the other side of this island, but by coincidence the cats started biting again also.  

18 fat channel cats.  They made 5 pounds of fillets.
