For some reason I always feel like an old New England whaler when I see an unusual mushroom like the ones in this little bunch that appeared on my property yesterday.
Maybe it's the long hours of watching with nothing happening. Then the sudden appearance of something different, something graceful and beautiful. And you know what? I bet they taste like fish.
