Cigar Box Build #22...
Macanudo Cigars advertise themselves as America's best selling premium cigar. I have no way to verify that claim but I can claim their box makes a fine guitar.
I expected this to be a better sounding electric guitar than acoustic due to the thin box. Maybe I was think thin bodied screaming electrics like the Gibson SG or something of that nature. I had it backwards acoustic sound is strong and sweet. I don't think I have used that adjective yet on one of my guitars but it is the first thing that popped to mind when I laid metal to the wire. Electrically I only tried it through one of my home built jobs and you know that for me and amps the answer is always Fender. Through the right amp it may well be a towering sound.

So for the record it's tuned to G, low string to high G-B-D. Piezo pick up and box corners all around. Neck is Poplar and is stained with a custom mix of "paprika" wood stain and a bit of Thompson's water seal which gives it a slight purple tint. Neck is slightly off angle but I think it along with the odd number of reso covers, also off center, gives it a distinct look.
I'll sell it for $75 bucks.
