Making Money at Last...

It's tough making money on the Internet. Everyone is trying to cash in so there is lots of competition. Lot of imitators. And it cost a lot to operate here. Slim profit margins and all.

That's why you have to really take advantage of those Grandfathers with new grand children, first time parents etc...

Course if your head gets cut off in the picture I give a discount.

It's a girl...

Margaret and Kevin have a girl. Born sometime in the last 40 minutes. Name is Greyson and I hope that's spelled right. 9lb 22oz. Twenty two inches long.

It's been busy...

Just a moment to post before taking off to the lake. It's been a busy weekend, TKD, family, and now we are headed out fishing.

Just to get us started, when we went to the TKD tournament in Dallas we stopped by for a quick visit with my cousin David, and his wife Kathy. They lived just a few miles from the tournament site.

Here is me, my cousin David and his grandson Ryan. David last lived in Lufkin about 30 years or so ago. He remembers how it was around here before all the fast food places and chains and stuff that are making this town just like all the others moved in. That weird old Lufkin where there is still a paper mill and a Pines Theater. David got to meet a bunch of the Lufkin TKD folks and I think had a good time talking to them.

I think this might be the only picture of me made all weekend. Maybe I'll catch a big catfish today. Since I appear in this picture Davis and Ryan do not have to pay the usual $39,000 fee that goes with being pictured here.

New features...

You may have noticed the tags at the ends of the post this week. New features here and I don't quite have them all figured out. You know how computers are, something is working just fine and the new upgraded version comes along and bang you have to start the education process all over, which is a process I am weary of right now.

This particular service is a Google related. I used to just be able to keep myself logged in on this computer and bring up my posting page and get the latest news out there. Now I log through two passwords and then a Google log on before I get my control panel thing. I think Google stuff on your computer is kind of like having Wal-Mart do your funeral, they are all up in your stuff from then on.

I guess I should not complain, this is a free service. And I make money from it. Remember I will post your picture for $39,000. Here is a example of two people who went in halves, $18,500 each.

I also have the option to publish in Hindu, but I would not do you that way.

So I am muddling along with these new features, hopefully the tags can be used to create a comprehensive thread that runs through here. Proof of intelligent design I like to think of it as. See I am a little unlike other denizens of the Internet I do hang with real people. At least the ones that have $39,000 to spare.
