Lake Belton Wildlife photos...
Check out this cold frosty 27 degree sunrise photo over Lake Belton. Right of center you can just make out a bluff bank. Right of that (keep reading this is not about politics) is where Owl creek enters the lake.
Once the sun is up a good a nice doe appears. It's on private land, no hunting and grazes along having a nice breakfast. A little later a couple of more deer join in on the feast. Just for the record none of them are swimming in my belly.
As the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side so this little girl casually swims the creek, about 50-75 yards wide and come right out without a shiver and keeps on grazing. Still no hunting even though she is in a wildlife management area, it's small game only.
