Happy Birthday Glenn...

It's my brother Glenn's birthday. Here's a photo of him opening one of his birthday gifts. He's thinking "what have they got me now." Used to in the good old days when there were just 20 things in the world and you got one of them as a gift you would pretty much be assured of knowing what it was and rest happy in the feeling that there were only 19 more things in the world left to have so you were pretty close to having in all. Now there are 20 million things in the world and when you get one of them you might not know what it is and it can be a bit troubling knowing that to have it all you gotta get 19 million and 999 thousand other things. 

I think song writer Todd Snider said it best when he sang something like "having nothing is kind of like having it all..." Happy Birthday Glenn. Hear your tuba birthday at this LINK
